Puppy Reservation Process 

Before deposits are accepted to hold one of our puppies, I do want to ensure that all questions are answered for and by our new families so, that we are able to offer a suitable puppy to your home.

Waitlist: I anticipate a waitlist for upcoming litters early 2027 and 2028. Families on the waitlist are notified of their priority number for the sex they chose. An approved questionnaire and a 20% deposit is needed to secure your spot. Deposits are non-refundable; we cannot return your deposit if you change your mind. This can cause issues since other families may have been turned away while we held your spot. Deposits are refundable only if we can't provide your puppy due to not enough of your desired sex/coat or to illness or death.

” Pick of the Litter”: I do not participate in pick of the litter and operate more of a priority deposit policy. Once your questionnaire is approved & your deposit accepted you will be prioritized by the date of your deposit per sex/coat of puppy. Once the puppies are whelped and sexed you will be notified if there were enough puppies of the sex/coat you chose or not. Puppies will be matched with families at 7 weeks old after temperament testing and evaluations. The process will be done using photos and videos and visits can be scheduled. Following my veterinarian's advice to keep our puppies safe and healthy I just ask all visitors please don't schedule a visit if your current dog is not up to date on their vaccines. If they are upto date and you schedule a visit, please try to have as little contact w/ your dog before the visit. I am happy to work with each family to ensure you get a compatible puppy. While there may be some personality differences, all the puppies are raised consistently and are friendly, having been socialized with children.

Go home date: Puppies are ready to leave for their forever homes at 8 weeks of age. Please do not reserve a puppy if you are not able to pick up your puppy during this time. It is only fair that our puppies are introduced to their new homes at this age in order to settle in appropriately and be with their new family early during their bonding phase. I am completely flexible for up to 1 week, any time after this must be discussed individually and an additional fee may be incurred to cover medical and boarding expenses.

Deposits: Deposits are accepted by check, or Zelle for your convenience. Please note: deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE except in the circumstance there was not enough of the sex or coat you desired or in the unfortunate circumstance where due to health issues your puppy is no longer available.

Balance Due: Balance due at whelping, if you wait until pick-up day balance needs must be in the form of cash, bank cashier check, or Zelle. I will not accept personal checks at pick-up. If you are having your puppy transported the balance must be paid in full before your puppy leaves. Check payments must be received at 6 weeks of age to ensure enough clearance time. ​

Transport: We can work with you to arrange transport via personal ground transport services. Quotes and estimates will be given on an individual basis based on mileage.

 

Our Puppy Policy

All of our Weimaraner puppies are sold to approved homes only. To help us better understand your family and the need for a Weimaraner puppy, we ask that you submit our puppy inquiry form above. For whatever reason that you are unable to fill out the questionnaire/application above, feel free to call me for a phone interview.

Please note the following policies:

• All puppies are sold with a spay/neuter contract and/or Limited AKC Registration. We recommend that puppies are spayed or neutered by 18 months of age and no earlier than 12 months. ​

• After your application is approved, a 20% deposit of the puppy's price is required within 48 hours to reserve your puppy. Please note: deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE except in the circumstance there was not enough of the sex or coat you desired or in the unfortunate circumstance where due to health issues your puppy is no longer available.

• Puppies are chosen after temperament testing; conformation evaluation and bird work has been completed. We choose puppies for homes that we believe match the personality of the home as well as what you will be doing with your puppy. IE hunting, competition or pet/hunting partner etc. We welcome your thoughts on puppies as we are choosing so please give us your input. 

• Puppies are paired with new families around 7- 8 weeks of age. We place a different colored ribbon or collar on our puppies at whelping to track each puppy. You will be notified of the collar color for the puppy you are paired with at ~7-8 weeks of age.  

• Under certain circumstances I can keep your puppy for an agreed upon number of days after pickup date. Those situations must be discussed and agreed upon at the time of purchase as additional charges may be incurred.

• Puppies sent home with Dew claws removed and tails docked on short hairs for breed standard. All puppies are sent home dewormed, microchipped, AKC registration prepaid, and with 1st round of DA2PP shots at 8 weeks. Puppies will also go home with Vaccination tracker, copy of records while in my care, and a blanket with the mom and litters scent to help w/ separation and transition to their new home.
